Harvest Day Volunteers: On Thursday, October 30, primary grade classes participate in a Harvest Day Festival in the Waters' garden. We are looking for a number of volunteers to help! If you are interested in being a face painter on the 30th, email [email protected]! Many more volunteers will be needed, more information to come shortly.
Green Notes: Waters Works is looking for a volunteer to print a hard copy of the Green Notes in both English and Spanish for a binder that lives in the Main Office and is available to anyone who does not receive the Green Notes via email. If you are willing to do this every week, email [email protected].
Bulletin Board Designer: Waters Works is looking for a creative parent or guardian to become the front hallway (outside of the Main Office) bulletin board designer. The content changes seasonally to reflect school activities like Spirit Week. Email [email protected] if interested.
4TH Grade Boys Basketball Coach: Waters has two neighborhood basketball teams: - 3rd/4th grade girls (coach Lori Roberts for the last three years), - 4th-grade boys team (coach by Gabe Godwin last year—boys' first year) This is a great opportunity for our younger kids to play other North Side school teams before they can play for Waters’ 5th–8th grade school-coached teams.
Lori will be coaching the 3rd /4th girls again this year. However, we will need a coach for the 4th-grade boys if we are play this season. We have reserved a spot for the 4th-grade boys, but we need a coach, now!
Waterstoday Treasurer: Waters Today is looking for a new treasurer to begin shadowing our current treasurer any time and begin two-year term on June 1, 2015.
VOLUNTEER FORMS CPS requires all volunteers to fill out paperwork and undergo a background investigation. The forms can be downloaded at this location and must be turned in to Mr. Gaytan in the Main Office.
