Make and Play Day at Waters
Global Cardboard Challenge What an amazing day of cardboard, creativity and fun. Waters students, volunteers, teachers and parents gathered on Saturday October 1 to let their imaginations go wild with an amazing array of cardboard and supplies. Robots, games, swimming pools, hockey rinks, army tanks and so much more came out of these few hours of Saturday fun. Thank you to all students who joined in on the fun, to the volunteers and teachers who made it all possible and to Mrs. Vecchioni for kickstarting the cardboard challenge movement at Waters School. A special thank you as well to Mrs. Crespo and Ms. Alvarez for being so supportive of the event and the STEAM initiative at Waters. Stay tuned for another Maker activity in the spring. |
