Walk-A-Thon Success
Annual Event Raises over $13,000
Thanks to everyone who helped make the Waters Walk-A-Thon a success. You helped us raise over $13,000! Thanks to everyone who helped before, during, and after the event. Please be sure to thank our sponsors: CAC Lincoln Square Athletic Club, Swedish Covenant Hospital, ALDI, Galter Life Center. We're so appreciative for all the prize donations.
Congratulations to the individual class winners who will be contacted in the next week to choose their prize: Quinn Srichinda, Oscar Narut, Soraya Olivares, Benjamin Cederquist, Lucy Reiger, Addie Brooks, Connor Sullivan, Henry Brooks, and Emma Kibler. If you're a parent of one of these kids, please send an email to make arrangements for your child's prize.
The following classrooms raised the most money in their grade and will receive an extra reccess:
Kindergarten: Ms. Novak
First Grade: Ms. Johnson
Second Grade: Ms. Roman
Third Grade: Mr.King
Fourth Grade: Ms. Herrera
Fifth Grade: Ms. Hooper
Sixth Grade: Ms. DelCampo
Seventh Grade: Ms.Gyftakos
Eighth Grade: Ms. Ballasch
Mr. King's class raised the most money of all classes ($1,353) so his classroom will take the trophy and will have a soccer and yoga clinic before the end of the year as their prize!
For the students who raised over $60, your hats will be delivered before the last day of school. If your child submitted pledges and did not receive a pedometer, please contact Erica Battin or Ann Hopkins Avery.
