April 1 to 30 – Vote Online Or By Phone
The Welles Park Nature Place is one of three park projects in the city of Chicago nominated to receive $20,000 through the National Recreation and Park Association’s “Meet Me at the Park” grant. This funding would place us within reach of our $30,000 fundraising goal for the one-of-a-kind project that will transform a former playground near the intersection of Western and Montrose avenues into a place full of hidden nooks, climbing challenges and buzzing wildlife. The grant is awarded based on public votes, and only one of the three local projects can win. Throughout the month of April, please take a minute or two each day to vote for the Welles Park Nature Place and spread the word to your friends and family members.
Online: Visit the grant website here and select the Welles Park Nature Place
By Phone: Text the code welles to 35350. Message and data rates may apply.
Remember, you can vote for the project each day between now and April 30! Questions, contact Welles Park Nature Place.
