Ms. Jessica is this year’s President of the Bilingual Advisory Committee (BAC), which supports the families of English Language Learners. She’s also part of the very helpful Lost & Found team, keeping lost items organized and getting them back to their owners.
Jessica’s day job helps Waters, too – she’s the Site Manager for the Right at School (RAS) recess and lunch program, making sure transitions run smoothly. She’s also an educator for the RAS after-school program, and helps with homework and engages in fun activities with our students. Her favorite RAS activity is summer camp.
She is also a veteran Waters parent, having sent all five of her children to Waters – one is in college, one is in high school, and three are currently attending Waters. Jessica says she heard great things about Waters before her kids started at the school, and has found them to be true.
“What I love so much about Waters is our awesome, strong community and amazing parent involvement,” Jessica says. “Our teachers are A+ outstanding, and our principal is simply terrific.”
Jessica loves spending time with her family and cruising down the Chicago River in their pontoon boat.
Thanks, Ms. Jessica, for all you do!
