CPS 20 for 20 Rally
Thursday, May 26 – Springfield
CPS is organizing a rally this Thursday, May 26 in Springfield to call attention to the education funding crisis in Chicago. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend. Please let Ms. Crespo know if you are interested in participating (email her and put in the subject line: 20 for 20 RSVP). Northside pick up and drop off locations will most likely be at our high schools (i.e. Mather, Amundsen, Senn, Sullivan).
Itinerary:
6:00am: registration opens
6:45am: buses loaded w/ food and attendees
7:00am: final attendance taken / buses depart
7:00am - 11:00am: travel to Springfield
10:30am: buses begin to arrive in Springfield / drop-off procedures begin
12:00pm: rally begins
1:00pm: meetings / other activities begin
1:30pm - 2:30pm: pick-up procedures begin / buses begin to depart Springfield
1:30pm - 5:30pm: travel to Chicago
5:30pm: buses begin to arrive in Chicago
