For those of you coming, please plan to bring materials and supplies to share for the Cardboard Challenge on Saturday, October 13th from 9 to 12 at Waters School. When you come to school that Saturday, please plan to enter in the Annex doors.
We are encouraging families to bring any kind of tape to use and share - masking, duct, washi, scotch, etc. Other supplies such as tin foil, paper rolls, cardboard boxes, and any other recycled materials can also be brought for your child to use and to share with others.
We will also be needing lots of scissors - you may want to put your name on these and bring some for your family to use.
Kids of all ages (and their families) are invited to build something amazing out of cardboard, recycled materials and imagination! This event kicks off this school year’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) initiative and Maker Movement, an integral part of our curriculum plan. It is also part of the Imagination Foundation’s 2018 Global Cardboard Challenge, inspired by ‘Caine’s Arcade’.
