Saturday, April 29 – Waters Annex 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Make & Play Day Part 2 – Bring your carboard, scissors, duct tape and your imagination to our spring cardboard design challenge. We will be joining elementary students, high school students and life-long learners around the nation as we celebrate 2017’s Global Day of Design. We will practice design thinking and collaborate with friends and family as we build original constructions inspired by our design theme: LOCOMOTION!
This all-ages event is rooted in our school’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) initiative and is an exciting day full of child-centered, hands-on learning that shares how the Maker Movement is reinventing education in the 21st century. Start saving your cardboard now and come join the fun!
If you plan on attending, please register. This is not a requirement, but we would like to have a rough idea of attendance to plan for the event. If you would like to volunteer, please join us this Friday, April 21, 3:30-4:00 p.m. or email Mrs. Vecchioni.
The STEAM Team thanks you for your support.
P.S. Save the Date – Another great Maker event is coming our way!
