We are starting off the school year with an unprecedented level of collaboration between community stakeholders, including the WatersToday fundraising team, school administration and instructional leadership team, staff, and the local school council (LSC), in the allocation of funds raised by WatersToday last year. At Tuesday’s meeting, the LSC voted to approve the recommended allocation of these funds for continued funding and personnel support for of our ecology program, essentials programs and recess/lunch programs, as well as the second phase of our technology upgrade, continued implementation of the STEAM initiative at each grade level, expanded after school programming, and collaboration time for the instructional leadership team with our grade level teacher teams.
