Waters Diverse Learners Committee Meeting
Thursday, April 20 – Annex 3:30 p.m.
The Diverse Learners parent committee met for the first time on February 22. Many thanks to the parents who attended, and to Ms. Bricker and Mrs. Crespo for their participation. Ms. Bricker presented on the differences between an IEP and a 504, and the IEP process. Notes are attached, including scans of the documents handed out at the meeting. We will be starting a Google Doc of resources that everyone can add to.
In observance of Autism Awareness Month this April, Interrobang Theatre will present “Falling” from March 16 – April 16. Waters parent and Diverse Learners committee member Kellie Greene will be in a panel discussion after the play on March 26, 31 and April 2.
The next Diverse Learners parent meeting will be Thursday, April 20, at 3:30 p.m. We are looking into childcare and will confirm soon, hope to see you there! Questions, email Kelli Landes.
