Waters Elementary School will be hosting a Girls in the Know Empowerment Workshop Series. Girls in the Know is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower and educate pre-teen girls. Beginning on Wednesday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m., this four-part/four-week workshop will be presented to 5th - 7th grade girls who attend alongside a trusted adult (female or male). The following topics are covered: Empowerment, Body Image, Safety, and Puberty. The cost of the four-week program for Waters Elementary families is $75 per girl/adult pair.
