THIRD GRADE PERFORMANCES – "THE GREAT MOTHER VERB"
Tuesday, March 15 – Room 201 9:40 a.m.
Wednesday, March 16 – Room 202 9:40 a.m.
Thursday, March 17 – Room 204 9:40 a.m.
Parents of third-graders are invited to attend special performances of "The Great Mother Verb" by Waters' third grade this week. The plays are inspired by the book "Brave Irene" and feature verbs. The students wrote their own plays using action verbs and state of being verbs from the story.
We hope you enjoy the performances which reinforce the third grade knowledge of the parts of speech. In addition, acting allows for the use of learning modalities not always experienced in the regular classroom.
