23% of money raised at Big Night came from ticket sales – so just your presence at the event made the most impact. Over 300 entrance tickets were sold and over 250 of you made it to the event. (Ticket sales also include drink tickets and Big Night money purchased.) Our sponsors really stepped up this year and were responsible for 16% of all money raised – make sure you thank them by sending business their way if the opportunity arises. Parent and teacher parties, mobile bidding, cash donations and Walk to Waters proved to be popular with Big Night attendees. The wonderful heart blocks, live auction, t-shirt sales and raffle tickets capped off our fundraising success. Thank you again to all who attended, participated and helped make this event so amazing.
Although we use volunteers and donations for as much as we possibly can, there is a cost to putting on the event which includes the venue rental, food and beverage, software application fee, credit card fees and advertising costs.
