Free Museum Visits for CPS Students
Sunday, August 27-Saturday, September 2 – Chicago Museums
Chicago Public School families are invited to check out the amazing museums in Chicago for FREE at the end of this month!
So many great choices ... here are a couple suggestions:
Ms. Vecchioni's classes will be studying symbolism in art inspired by the Gauguin: Artist as Alchemist* exhibit currently at the Art Institute of Chicago through Sunday, September 10, and will continue projects inspired by Oceanic art for the upcoming fall art exhibit. The Field Museum has one of the most extensive collections of Oceanic and Polynesian artifacts in the country. Both museums would be fantastic choices!
