December 15 – Waters Main Lobby 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Special Performances by The Aloha Center Chicago at 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. (Bring your hula and ukulele!)
Waters Fine Arts School artists are celebrating the experimentation of Paul Gauguin, and the traditional Polynesian art forms that inspired him in Tahiti, with our annual first semester visual art exhibit opening! All students (K-8) who are currently in visual art will show artworks in our exhibit and will act as docents (exhibit guides/experts) for the event. Please Note: Students can be docents without RSVP. All Waters School students are invited to attend the opening and participate in our Artists as Alchemists Scavenger Hunt. All students who complete scavenger hunt entries are eligible to win fun art prizes!
Come and join us for 15 minutes or an hour – it’s up to you! We look forward to seeing you! Aloha, Mrs. Vecchioni
