CONGRATULATIONS Kaline Adams and Tommy Skapes, both 7th grade Waters School artists featured in our first-ever 47th Ward online youth art show. Many thanks to Alderman Martin and the 47th Ward Open Wall Council and Youth Council for creating this innovative online event.

We Are Waters! K-8 Online Community Library LAUNCH Virtual Event

Thursday, December 17th– 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

PLEASE JOIN US! We will be LAUNCHing our 1st Semester student-created online community library! Hooray!

We will have featured student-author readings, peer review discussions, author talks and DIY activities from our community library for visitors and fellow artists. AND new this year---RAFFLE PRIZES for event participants and student artists! You will also earn visitor stamps for your online reading passport as a scavenger hunt!

Students can start experiencing their online reading passport activity right now!

Mrs. Vecchioni's example: I would save my new and personal reading passport by copying and renaming it in Google Drive as AMY.ve.

The reading passport information above and event link will be posted in all student Google Classroom Announcement Streams. Our Google Meet link will also be shared the evening prior to our event.
