S.T.E.M Fair Winners!

Waters seventh and eighth grade students did a great job at this week’s S.T.E.M. Fair!  They all worked hard and impressed many of the judges.  Way to go Wildcats! Congratulations on your hard work.  

Seventh Grade Winners:
  • 3rd place - Elias Vlamis from room 309
  • 2nd place - Malaina Rangel from room 302
  • 1st place - Noah Bjurstrom from room 305

Eighth Grade Winners:
  • 3rd place - Alexis Thanasouras from room 303
  • 2nd place - Grace Ronan from room 301
  • 1st place - Sylvia Foster-Rice from room 301

A special congratulations and good luck to the four overall winners who qualified to go on and represent Waters School at the Network Science Fair on January 17th; these students are:

If your child was absent on Picture Day or if you would like for them to retake their yearbook/school ID picture, retakes will be Tuesday, December 10th. Please ask your child's teacher or the main office for order forms. You can also order online at: inter-state.com/order, our order code is 45155CA.

Coffee & Wreath Pick Up at Waters Maker Fair

Saturday, December 7th, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Waters Gym


Just a reminder that the Coffee & Wreath orders that were placed in October, as part of the 8th Grade Field Trip Fundraiser, will be available for pick up during the Waters Maker Fair event in Saturday, December 7th.  So, don't forget to stop by the 8th Grade Table to pick up your order.  Additionally, there will be face painting, a craft table & popcorn sales during the event.

Science Fair Judges Needed!

The 2019 Seventh & Eighth Grade STEM Fair will take place on Monday, December 9, 2019.

We are looking for volunteers to judge the middle school students' projects. You do not need to have a science background to participate. Many judges are needed, as each project needs be judged 3 times to qualify for the next competitive step: the Network STEM Exhibition.

Click here to sign up to volunteer.  Please sign up for the time closest to your arrival.  Most judges commit to at least an hour.  Contact Peggy Ballasch for more information
