Waters Scholastic Book Fair
Wednesday, November 30 through Friday December 2 – Room 111 9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Saturday, December 3 – Room 111 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Join us for the Book Fair! Reading 20 minutes a day is proven to drive academic success, and book fairs help to get books in the hands of our students. In the past, 55% of every book sold was given back to our school in Scholastic Dollars and spent on boosting classroom libraries and teacher resources.

Your child will be visiting our book fair with his or her class and students throughout the week and will have the opportunity to purchase books at that time. For families, the fair will be open after school and on Saturday during the Waters Craft Market.
We will accept cash and credit cards. Sorry we cannot accept checks. If you would like your child to purchase books, please send payment with your child on his or her scheduled classroom visit day – please check with their teacher, and don’t forget to include a little extra for tax.

Please sign up if you can volunteer to help out any time during Book Fair hours.

If you are wondering how else you can help Waters, please consider these Give Back to Waters programs which translate your daily transactions into money for Waters.

For example, purchase The Powch and 20% of the proceeds go to Waters or create a healthier home with items from Mighty Nest and 15% goes back to Waters. Selling or buying real estate? Get a percentage of the sale donated to Waters.

In most cases, everyone can participate, so be sure to share with friends, family and colleagues!

Annual Give
Donation Thank-you Gift Pickup
Wednesday, November 16 – Main Entrance Before or After School
Thursday, November 17 –
Main Entrance After School
Thank you donors, volunteers and teachers – we had a terrific night celebrating Waters this past Monday at Artango. We are truly lucky to be a part of this amazing neighborhood community.

The tally is in and so far we have just over 70 participating families and we are 52% of the way to our Annual Give goal of $100,000. Thank you for your generosity! Last night we announced that every Annual Give family donor and/or volunteer will receive a "We Support Waters Elementary" yard sign with stake or removable window decal. You pick it based on what will work best in your home. Signs will be available for pick-up at Waters Elementary before or after school on Wednesday, November 16, and after school only on Thursday, November 17, outside the main entrance on Campbell.

We’re still short of our $100K goal so if you have not yet donated and wish to do so you still have time! Donate Now. If you have donated, please check with your employer to see if a corporate match is possible. We want to do everything we can to keep our Ecology, Music, Sports programs in place as well as our Recess and Lunch Supervision from Right At School. You will receive a yard sign or window decal if you donate now. Thanks again for your generosity and support for WatersToday – every little bit counts!
