There are apps that you can download if you would like to use the program on a tablet. ![]() Congratulations to our Cross Country Runners who competed at City Wide Finals over the weekend. All runners did a great job. A special shout out to Forrest Durnbaugh, a 6th grader here at Waters School, for his spectacular run at the City Finals last weekend. The students loved the pep rally, the chalked sidewalks on the school grounds, and all the support. For those who played last year, you’ll remember we typically have one practice and one game per week. Games start in January but final rosters are due Nov. 15. Cost, which covers registration, uniforms and referee fees, will be determined by number of participants. We will have 1-2 practices in December before holiday break. Grade levels and tryout times TBA. ![]() All students continue to have access to Myon. Myon is a collection of over 6000 ebooks that students can read. There is also a daily news section and achieves which house over 2000 news articles. At the request of students, we have purchased additional chapter books so all students should take a look this year to see the new books. When getting into Myon, students should use cps.edu/clever. If you are using a tablet, there is a free Clever app that you can download. There is also a Myon App that is for downloading books if you are out of wi-fi. Once you are to the CPS Clever site, they can either type in their CPS credentials OR wave their QR badge. Students have reviewed how to use Myon in Digital Media class. If you have questions, please reach out to Ms. Herman. |
