Get your tickets today (early bird ticket pricing ends on April 6) and don't forget to book your sitter! We've got an amazing "Carnival" evening of entertainment planned for you with food, drinks, music and great company. Join in on the fun and you could walk away with some fabulous items through our raffles, parent/teacher party sign ups, student block art and our live auction event. BAC Meeting

Ashland Ave Whole Foods Market Lakeview will be donating 1% of its net profits on Friday March 24th to Waters Elementary as part of their opening week celebrations. This is an incredible opportunity to check out the new Whole Foods Market Lakeview and support Waters Elementary, your neighborhood school! Doors open at 7am, please visit this Whole Foods Market location anytime next Friday, March 24th and stock up your pantry. WatersToday will have a table set-up to connect with shoppers and tell them about our amazing school, staff, and students! We would love to see you. Please stop by and say “hello!”! The store is relocating to 3201 N. Ashland Ave and will open its doors to the public on March 22nd at 9am. ![]() Waters Trivia Night Saturday, March 18 – The Piggery 7:00-11:00 p.m. Team up with you brightest (and most fun) friends for a fun and competitive night of trivia at The Piggery which is at 1625 W. Irving Park Rd, just east of the Irving Park brownline stop. Teams may consist of up to 6 people so choose wisely. Sandor Weisz will be providing a night of challenging questions as Gregory Kobak provides the sounds for the evening. Cost is $25.00 per person. Cash bar with drink specials. Light appetizers provided. All proceeds will benefit WatersToday. Purchase tickets now. Contact organizer Sandi Barlow for more information. ![]() Coffee with Crespo Monday, March 20 – Waters Annex 6:15-7:30 p.m. Coffee with Crespo is an opportunity for the Waters community to meet in a smaller, more informal environment with Principal Crespo. This session will be devoted to discussing questions and concerns that are specific to early primary grades. Survey feedback topics included: handwriting curriculum, behavior charts, grading policy, parent volunteering, and fundraising for classroom aides. Stop by to join the discussion and bring all your questions. Please RSVP. ![]() Thank you to Embellish, Rocks and all the families, friends and neighbors who joined us last Friday. Rocks raised $260 for Waters and Embellish raised $427. What a successful evening of dining and shopping! ![]() Boys Volleyball Tryouts Wednesday, March 15 – Waters Gym 3:15-4:00 p.m. If you weren't able to make 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade boys volleyball tryouts Tuesday, great news! Mr. Orlov is hosting a second session of tryouts Wednesday afternoon. Participants must wear shorts, t-shirt, and gym shoes. Knee pads are encouraged. Go Wildcats! ![]() Monthly LSC Meeting Tuesday March 14 – Waters Annex 4:00–5:30 p.m The Waters Local School Council (LSC) welcomes special guest Carter Harms from State Representative Ann Williams' office at this month's meeting. We also look forward to the presentation of "The Legend of Snake and Turtle" by first grade students and Mr. Leki. In addition, we will hear from CJ Johnson from Windy City Greens about a fundraising opportunity for Waters families to participate in community supported agriculture (CSA), get a budget update, and the usual committee reports (full agenda).
