Let's distinguish ourselves and let Whole Foods Market know what these opportunities mean to our community. You can also email your thank yous to Jason Aragon, the Store Team Leader. ![]() Waters Online Auction for Big Night 2017 April 21 – May 1 Since we'd love more conversation and less focus on our phones during Big Night, the online auction will take place prior to the Big Night festivities this year. We'll open up the bidding the morning of Friday, April 21 at 9:00 a.m. and we'll close it down at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1. You now have two weeks instead of just a few hours to review and bid on all the amazing items up for grabs. And, this way, more family and community members can participate (make sure you spread the word to everyone you know!). So get organized and mark your calendar now. And, if you have not done so already, please purchase your Big Night tickets for an evening of fun on Saturday, May 6 with great people, food and entertainment. ![]() Big Night Auction Donations Due Saturday, April 1 The Big Night Donations Team is working hard to secure amazing items for our online auction (new this year!), raffle baskets, and live auction. We have some great donations, and are actively seeking: • Tickets! Are you a season ticket holder? We’re looking for tickets to Chicago sporting events. We have a particular need for Bears, Blackhawks, and Bulls tickets to add to auction packages (but keep those Cubs and Sox tickets coming!). We are also interested in concert tickets – going to U2, Jimmy Buffett, Lady Gaga. Lollapalooza, or another great show this summer and have extra tickets? We’ll take them off your hands. • Booze! We’re also looking for donations of spirits for a ‘Stock the Bar’ auction item. Donate your favorite bottle, and we’ll add it to the collection. The deadline is Saturday April 1, so you won’t even have to think about it over spring break! Please contact Lisa Kearney with any donations you have. ![]() Parents of Diverse Learners Committee Meeting Thursday, April 20 – Room 212 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. The next meeting of the Parents of Diverse Learners Committee will feature Mr. King and Ms. Herman talking about co-teaching – some of the thinking and strategies behind it, and what it looks like in the classroom.
