Drop off in Main Office
Week of February 20
Don't recycle that cardboard ... UPCYCLE it! We are reclaiming flat cardboard in the art room this week for our upcoming study of Outsider artist Amos Ferguson. All sizes are welcome, but please cut down any boxes if you can. Cardboard should be thin – cereal boxes, cracker boxes, pasta boxes, snack boxes and the like, not shipping boxes. Children will need to be able to cut it on their own. Please drop it in the main office or have your child deliver it to the art room. We will be collecting cardboard for the next week. All students who are in art will also need to bring in a piece of cardboard (free-choice on size). Thank you for your support! Contact Mrs. Vecchioni with any questions.

A Night Out with Mr. Bradford
Wednesday, March 1 –
Old Town School of Folk Music 8:30 p.m.
Thanks to everyone who came out last week to see Friends of the Gamelan at Old Town! We enjoyed great Indonesian music by a great local group. It was very interesting and exciting hearing and seeing so many different instruments on stage.

Our next installment of ”A Night Out with Mr. Bradford” will be next Wednesday with a performance by Tamar Ilana & Ventanas. Singer/dancer Tamar Ilana has lived and breathed traditional Mediterranean and Balkan music from girlhood, traveling and performing with her ethnomusicologist/singer mother. Her trans-Mediterranean ensemble Ventanas, founded in 2011, fuse passion and intimate dialogue, embracing the varied instrumental and melodic traditions of North Africa, the Balkans, Turkey and Spain to create fresh interpretations and original songs.

Please join us! Reserve your FREE tickets online.

I hope to see as many families as possible there!
