Thank you to student artists, administration, staff and parent volunteers for making Our Stories Inspired by Yayoi Kusama, our 1st Semester Art Show, such a success!

What a tremendous community effort. Thank you everyone who contributed to a great celebration of student creativity and voice.

2019: The Year of the Pig

Chinese New Year Parade
February 19, 2019
8:30AM

Please join us as K-2 graders ring in the new year with our annual Lantern Festival Parade! All students will join in the celebration as we cheer on 2019, The Year of the Pig, as Primary grade students parade through the halls---making lots of noise to shoo away bad luck and displaying kinetic artworks to honor this beloved Waters School tradition.

Please wear red!

Our Stories: Narratives in Patterns, Symbols & Motifs Inspired by Yayoi Kusama
1st Semester All School Exhibit Opening!

All students, K-8, will exhibit three artworks in our 1st semester show inspired by the creative spirit of Yayoi Kusama. Our opening will be January 25, 2019 and will run from 3:15-5:00PM.

All students have the opportunity to be docents of the show and may win fun art prizes. We will also be launching some interactive art studios to share Kusama's use of installations and performance art in her work.

Join us for 15 minutes or an hour! We'd love to see you!

We are also seeking volunteers to help hang the exhibit. If you are interested to volunteer or want more information please email Mrs. Vecchioni.

Network Science Fair Judges Needed!

Our Network Science Fair is seeking judges to help judge our network fair. We had a good number of judges come out and help us at our fair and it would be great if we could help our Network experience the same. The fair is scheduled for Friday, January 25th at Truman College with judging taking place during the morning.
