LSC Call to Action

At the monthly Local School Council (LSC) meeting on Tuesday, LSC members discussed the the proposed CPS budget cuts and how they may impact Waters. A 'call to action' letter was read, amended, and approved, strongly urging community members to contact state leaders to pass equitable education funding legislation before the session ends on May 31st (Spanish version here). A computer is set up in the office with the relevant websites (CPS '20 for 20' campaign and Funding IL's Future) for for parents to submit letters to state leaders--stop by anytime during the school day to take action now!
