As you may have seen, yesterday the Illinois State Senate passed The Better Funding for Better Schools Act (SB 231), by a vote of 31-21. (You can read our statement on this here.)
This bill moves Chicago students one step closer to funding equality with their peers around the state - and its passage marks an important moment in our fight for equal funding.
