Parents and guardians of CPS students are invited to complete a survey about their child's school. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and is available in several languages. It is completely anonymous. Link to survey.

We will host CyberKidz, a cyber security awareness workshop sponsored by JP Morgan Chase. This workshop is for parents (students are welcome to accompany their parents) to learn more about cyber safety. Topics covered include how to stay safe online, protecting personal information, cyberbullying, apps and sites that are safe/ok/unsafe.
Ms. Hooper and Ms. Collins-Gonzalez are proud to announce this summer’s Arts in the Garden Camp. With support from the Chicago Arts Partnership in Education, we will be offering a FREE summer camp for art enthusiasts entering grades 5-8. Throughout camp we will spend our time outdoors learning about our native flowers, creating garden art, painting, drawing, practicing photography, journaling, and much more!

Congratulations to all of our Battle of the Books participants in 5th, 6th, and 7th grade. Thank you to Ms. Herman, Ms. Collins, and Mr. Wall for coaching our different teams. We are excited to announce that our 7th grade team (pictured here) will be advancing to the city wide finals on April 27th. Another quick update since camp has filled up so fast. We are officially on a waiting list for all weeks except the first week of volleyball. If you already sent in your form or emailed Mr. Orlov, your child is included. We are operating with a first come, first serve approach.
