Our Parent Groups

LIBRARY

Just as many north side schools did, Waters lost its CPS budget for a librarian a few years ago. And this past year, due to increased enrollment we actually lost our physical Library to the need for a classroom. Even though we are uncertain of our central Library future, we still have a volunteer group of parents who are dedicated to the Library activities at the school. These activities included Scholastic Book orders, Scholastic Book Fairs and joint projects with the Chicago Public Library. We are always looking for more volunteers.
