MS. HERMAN | Digital Media
The digital media program at Waters is designed to provide students with ways to use technology to share what they are learning, express themselves creatively, and be safe and responsible on-line.
In K-2 grades, technology instruction focuses on the basics. Students will:
Students in grades 3 – 5 practice skills using word processing, programming, presentation tools, beginning spreadsheets and Internet skills.
Students in grades 6 – 8 use a variety of software and Internet resources, work individually and in small groups and use technology to find their own voices. 7th and 8th graders will participate in Adobe Youth Voices, a project which celebrates creativity and social consciousness in the creation of projects using Adobe products such as PhotoShop Elements and Premiere Elements.
